Last weekend, 23rd, 24th and 25th May, we spent three very special days... and very busy! English Summer S.A. took part in two family sporting events with a shared objective: to promote healthy habits, educate in values and accompany the little ones in experiences that leave their mark.
Because yes, we love summer, English and fun! But we are also where children excel, learn and have a good time... even before the camp begins.
Froggy already has a number! - Cursa Diagonal DIR Kids
On Friday 23rd May, we were at the stand of the Cursa Diagonal DIR, just as families were picking up their bib numbers for the eagerly awaited children's race. It was an afternoon of smiles and nerves... and not only for the children: our dear Froggy also received hers and was more than ready to run for a good cause!
Saturday 24th was the big day of the DIR Kids, a solidarity race aimed at children between 3 and 14 years old, organised in different levels according to age - the youngest, up to 5 years old - ran accompanied by their families, creating the most endearing scenes.
A morning full of energy, laughter and lots of enthusiasm. From our stand, we encouraged the participants and explained everything English Summer has to offer and - of course - Froggy was the life and soul of the party: photos, hugs, high-fives and smiles all round. It was certainly a day to remember!
Fun and solidarity - Fun Run PortAventura 2025
On Sunday 25th we closed the weekend by taking part in the legendary PortAventura World Fun Run. A charity event organised by the PortAventura Foundation, where sport, leisure and social commitment go hand in hand.
Children, families, athletes and many visitors enjoyed a day where the important thing was not the goal, but to share, collaborate and have fun. Our stand was a meeting point for information about our summer camps and we also participated with a very special initiative:
Those who left their bib number with us were entered into a draw to win a summer camp.
They could also buy a solidarity bracelet, and thus collaborate with the cause and participate in the draw for several prizes, including a full stay in one of our camps!
It was a day full of emotion, music, smiles and an atmosphere that fills you with energy.
Why do we participate in these events?
Because at English Summer S.A. we believe that education goes far beyond the classroom. It is about experiences, challenges and sharing unique moments. And that is why we are committed to being present in activities that promote a healthy lifestyle.
Thanks to all the families who came, who shared these days with us and who, once again, reminded us why we have been committed to the personal growth of young people through languages, values, sport and games for more than 40 years.
Summer is just around the corner!
